History

AAA Logistics Ltd was originally established in 1994 as AAA Light Haulage by Ted Wood in partnership with his sons Kevin and Nigel and his daughter Claire.

Ted has a very extensive knowledge of the haulage business having driven lorries since he was in the army in 1952. Though now retired he is still on hand when needed and Kevin has followed in his footsteps to become a driver himself while Claire has taken over the role of running the business.

We have built a reputation for being a friendly, helpful and reliable company, and we are always striving to better ourselves and to make things easier for our customers.

We are constantly adding to and updating our fleet to meet our customer’s individual needs.

We specialise in supplying vehicles with drivers to our customers on a contract basis, which means that our customers enjoy the benefit of a vehicle tailor-made for their particular business, without the hassle of running their own vehicle, and all that it entails.  But spot-hire remains very popular for a lot of our customers.

We have a large and very reliable sub-contractor base, which means that if we can't cater for your needs with our own vehicles then we will find one for you.

You will also find secure storage at the farm from where we operate, with forklift truck facilities, at competitive rates.
